Lhaze County Overview
Located in the valley of the Yarlung Tsangbo River, Lhatse County is a small town of a few thousand people in the Tibet Autonomous Region , 151 kilometers away from the southwest of Shigatse and west of the mountain pass leading to it with an altitude of 4,050 meters above sea-level. It is among the most impoverished counties in China.

Attractions
Phuntsoling Monastery: Located in Pinghuilin township, Yazi county, of Tibet Autonomous Region,the monastery was built by Doro in 1615, with an altitude of 4,100 meters above sea level.
Jipu Village: Jipu village is a quiet and comfortable place with blue sky, white clouds, snowy mountains, pastures and terraces, like a paradise.
Jiatsora Mountain Pass: With an altitude of 5220 meters, it is the mountain pass of Everest Mountain Reserve.
Climate
Covering with variety of transcribing county plateau terrains and located in a semi-humid and semi-arid transition zone, the area of Lhatse is abundant in the sunlight, heat and water resources with low air pressure and high altitude air circulation which formed the the most distinctive feature of the Lhatse climate.
