About Chomolhari
Chomolhari is located along the 204 provincial highway, 70 kilometers from Yadong County. Lying at the junction of the kingdom of Bhutan(不丹王国) and Yadong County in Tibet. It is in the middle of the Himalayas, 7,600 meters above sea level.
Chomolhari is in majestic magic, the west of the mountain is in China, and the east is in the kingdom of Bhutan, yet the top is a holy land that nobody has been there, thus enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. Chomolhari is a fault block mountain system formed by early Paleozoic stratum and the Himalayan granite, making up a huge natural pass in the top.
The snow mountains reflect in the beautiful Duoqing Lake(多情湖); the cloud of the Chomolhari echo with Duoqing Lake(多情湖) far away. When the sun rises and sets the snow mountains and the water are sparkling. Therefore, it has a high reputation at home and abroad, which is a great place for exploration and scientific investigation.

We can take a shuttle bus from Shigatse to Yadong County, then transfer a local mini van to Chomolhari.
