A Chinese-Tibetan dictionary of procedural law was published Wednesday in Xining, capital of northwest China’s Qinghai Province.
The bilingual dictionary includes more than 4,000 legal entries in the fields of criminal, civil and administrative procedure law.
“The dictionary can play a very important role in removing language barriers in judicial proceedings, speeding up the training of bilingual legal talent, and helping Tibetans better safeguard their rights in accordance with the law,” said Chen Mingguo, president of Qinghai Provincial Higher People’s Court.
The dictionary was jointly published by the people’s court press and the Ethnic Publishing House.
In China, Tibetans mainly live in the Tibet Autonomous Region and parts of Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu and Yunnan provinces.
