Changsha to Lhasa Trains

There is only one daily direct train from Changsha to Lhasa. Taking train there in Tibet is more cost-effective than other vehicles. The trains pass through eight railway stations on the way, stopover time is from 2 minutes to 25 minutes. The whole journey takes about 45 hours 29 minutes from Changsha to Lhasa. You can choose different classes according to your need, like hard seat, soft seat, soft sleeper or no seat.

 Lhasa to Changsha Trains

There is also one daily direct train from Changsha to Lhasa, same with Lhasa to Changsha. The trains pass through eight railway stations on the way, stopover time is from 2 minutes to 25 minutes.  The whole journey takes about 47 hours and 18 minutes, and the price ranges from 397.5 yuan(hard seat) to 1245.5 yuan(soft sleeper). You can choose different classes according to your need, like hard seat, soft seat, soft sleeper or no seat.

3. Generally, the seats on the train in China have tow types including soft seat and hard seat. Also, there are two kinds of sleeper seats on China’s trains which are hard berth and soft berth. Hard berth are divided into upper berth, middle berth and lower hard sleeper (lower berth is the best); while soft berth are divided into upper berth and lower berth (lower berth is better).
