There is a harsh dry climate and clay soil in Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, Bainang County, with a long period of sunshine and the huge temperature difference between day and night. There is a 38 KM long river, Nianchu River(年楚河), with the high flow season June - September and normal season October - May in a year.
