How to Get to Jomda County from Lhasa City

The journey mainly follows G318 National Highway (川藏南线):
Day 1: Lhasa (拉萨) → Nyingchi (林芝), ~400 km, 5–6 hrs
Visit Basum Lake (巴松措), known as the “Jiangnan of Tibet (西藏江南)”.
Overnight in Nyingchi to acclimatize.
Day 2: Nyingchi (林芝) → Ranwu Town (然乌镇), ~350 km, 6–7 hrs
Drive through Lulang Forest (鲁朗林海), with distant views of Namjagbarwa Peak (南迦巴瓦峰).
Arrive at Ranwu Lake (然乌湖) to catch the sunset.
Overnight in Ranwu Town.
Day 3: Ranwu Town (然乌镇) → Zuogong (左贡), ~290 km, 6–7 hrs
Pass the legendary Nujiang 72 Bends (怒江72拐) – one of the most famous sections of G318.
