Nimar Ciren is a direct academic successor of the 12th-generation master Tso Ru Tsai Lang (措如·才朗), who is known for perfecting the mercury cleansing and refining techniques. Under his mentorship, Nimar Ciren has dedicated many years to the study and mastery of this ancient practice, which is considered the core technique of Tibetan pharmaceutical production. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to the development and refinement of Tibetan medicines, particularly those related to mercury purification.

In addition to his practical work, Nimar Ciren has led the Tibet University of Tibetan Medicine to produce some of the most precious medicinal components, such as “Zuo Tai”, which is an essential ingredient in Tibetan medicine.
