About Zidong Qude Monastery in Namling County, Shigatse

Zidong Qude Monastery is located in Aima Village, north side of Yarlung Zangbo River. 3800 m above sea level, it was built by Jiayangmiwang Langgazhaxi(加央米旺朗噶扎西) who is the savior of  Sakya. Zidong Qude Monastery has more than 600 years history up to now. It belongs to Tibetan Buddhism and dedicates Zhuoma Buddha. Zidong Qude Monastey is surrounded by trees, so tourists can appreciate beautiful scenery and pleasant natural landscape.
