I visited Tibet at the end of April 2016, arranged through Trip Adviser, Cindy Cao. She was very helpful and prompt in replies on all matters. Worried about the approval of the permit, I was initially reluctant to book the air tickets, but she was very patient in managing my expectations and explaining the entire process (many times). Sonam Tenphel was our guide on the 10 days EBC + Namtso Lake tour, and he’s probably one of the best and most attentive and responsible guides around. I was down with food poisoning almost half of the tour and he, together with the rest of the travel mates, were constantly checking up on me. Sonam’s extensive knowledge of Tibet and energetic disposition made the trip enjoyable and fun. While we did have some issues regarding airport transfer at the end of the trip, it was quickly and easily settled, a reflection of the agency’s capabilities and flexibility. One for the memories!
