About LamuLacuo Lake
LamuLacuo Lake is the most legendary lake in Tibet. “Lamu(拉姆)” means fairy goddess, “la(拉)” means the lake surface, “LamuLacuo(拉姆拉错)” means “Jixiang Tianmu lake(吉祥天姆湖)” and “Shenmu lake(圣姆湖)”. Also known as Qiongguo Jieshen lake(琼果杰神湖), the lake is more than 5000 meters above sea level.
LamuLacuo Lake is a mountain freshwater lake, the lake area is about a square kilometer, just like an ellipse mirror in the mountains with a beautiful scenery. The ice age of the lake is about 7 months. After the summer, the water surface sometimes is calm, the water is clear like a mirror; and sometimes there are waves with strange noises from time to time. There are all sorts of wonderful sights.
Attraction Transportation:
We can take a shuttle bus from Shannan to Nedong District, then transfer a local mini bus to LamuLacuo Lake.
