It was the birthplace of the first Panchen Lama Kjude Grobasan (1385-1438) who is the third Chiba of Gandan Monastery. He is also the author of Zongkeba biography《宗客巴传》. What’s more, Zongkeba(宗喀巴), Jiacaojie(甲曹杰), Kezhujie(克珠杰) were known as “There Master Respects” in Gelug sect. They all carry forward the religious culture.
