It is said that drinking this spring or having a water bath can cure all misfortunes and evil, so it is regarded as holy water by local people. In the local singing: “when Venus flashed in the sky, sickness doesn’t need to call a doctor.” In annual mid July, when Venus appears, people will carry barley wine, butter tea and other food come to the Danzhensangqiu Spring. They will burn incense for Nisifa God and drink the holy water and have a bath. After that, they take the holy water home for family or spare.
