Lhasa: family doctor service benefits low-income families

It was reported that the coverage rate of family doctors for lower-income groups has reached 98% in Lhasa’s Chengguan District, while the rate has reached 100% for registered poverty-striken families in the city’s rural areas. And a green card for health services has also been issued, whereby low-income residents will enjoy fee reduction when they seek medical service in medical institutions of the city’s district level.
All the family doctor in Chengguan District can utilize mobile apps such as WeChat to provide health advice, health education, and appointment service to residents they serve for through online platform.
