Tibet Helps Nepali Women With Skill Training
On December 17, 56 local students received certificates from the “2018 Nepali Women’s Occupational Skills (Sewing and Weaving) Overseas Training Course”. held by Tibet. The closing ceremony of the class was held in Kathmandu.
The training program aimed at improving female students’ sewing and weaving techniques, which will help improve the economic status of Nepali women and also make an important contribution to social development.
The training course began on November 15, 2018. It is the first overseas training program of Tibet for improving people’s livelihoods in Nepal.
On the closing ceremony, the organizer donated 32 sewing machines used in the course to the students for their future business use.
