Yiong Tsangpo River in Tibet

Yiong Tsangpo in Nyingchi (易贡藏布), “Yigong Zangbo”, referred to as “Yigong River”易贡河 in Chinese, a large river flowing through Jiali County-Bomi County, is a secondary tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo River. The river originates at the southern foot of the Nianqing Tanggula Mountains in Jiali County, Nagqu Region, Tibet, and the main body passes through Yigong Township, which is located in eastern Tibet.

“Yiong Tsangpo River”: also known as “Yegong Zangbu” (Tibetan dialect), yi gong river (Chinese), namely through county-bomi county (eight cover township-yi gong township-tong mai town) of a river, through yi gong lake, from northwest to southeast, in mai village, is the secondary tributary of the river, the largest tributary, a total length of 295 km.

Traditionally, Yiong Tsangpo River starts from Zhongyu Township (formerly known as Zhongyi Township), and the 295 km long Yiong Tsangpo River from the southern foot of the Nianqing Tanggula Mountains in Jiali County is a broad term, just as the length of the Yangtze River starts from the source (generally called the Yangtze River), and the upper reaches are called the Tongtian River and the Jinsha River.
