Tibet launches “travel first and pay later” tourism pattern
The news was updated on June 19, 2019.
On June 13, the “Travel First and Pay Later Credit Alliance” was established in Lhasa, southwest China’s Tibet, with six tourism-related organizations and travel agencies joined as the initial members. It makes Tibet the fifth one after Shaanxi, Guangxi, Henan, and Shandong provinces to launch such a tourism pattern.
Dan Yang, the general management of the Tibet International Tourism and Culture Investment Group, and the program organizer, said the alliance was designed to solve the crisis of confidence in the tourism industry.
The “Travel First and Pay Later” pattern is an all-new tourism model, which provides eligible tourists with innovative tourism experience.
