Luzi Peak, which is 6154 meters above sea level, 90.40 east longitude and 30.20 north latitude, is located in the west side of the Yang bajing area(羊八井区), 97 kilometers northwest of Lhasa.
Luzi Peak means the head of sheep mountain(绵羊头山), the snow is covered all the year. The line is clear, it needs all kinds of climbing techniques, it is an ideal mountain-climbing training mountain. The best time of year for mountaineering is from April to May, and from September to October. It is the time to convert each other for the local wind season and the rainy season.
