Panjielin Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist Gelug monastery, located in Jianglin Village(江林村) of Nyalam Town(聂拉木镇), Nyalam County in the Tibet Autonomous Region, near the China-nepal highway. This area is mainly known as the Mila Riba Practice Cave(米拉日巴修行洞), “Master Bapu of Nyalam County(聂拉木主巴普)”. There are strange rocks and pillars in the cave. Panjielin Temple was founded by the fifth Dalai Lama in 1675.
Every year, thousands of tourists and pilgrims visit Panjielin Temple and these two Mila Riba Practice Cave(米拉日巴修行洞).
Attraction Transportation:
We can take a shuttle bus from Shigatse to Nyalam County, then transfer a local mini van to Panjielin Temple.
