About Meiyu Grassland
Meiyu grassland（美玉草原）is located in Meiyu Township（美玉乡）, Zogang County（左贡县）, Chamdo Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is in Yuqu River Valley（玉曲河）, which is 93 kilometers from Zogang County. Meiyu Township is a vast and flat area with rich grassland resources. The grassland scenic area is more than 100,000 mu. The traditional farming method based on nomadism has long been practiced in this county.

The beautiful Meiyu Grassland is endless with green grass, wild flowers everywhere in summer, cattle, fat horses, sheep groups, yellow sheep chasing and playing, hare, highland marmot everywhere. The scatters the state protected wild animals such as argali, black bear, snow leopard, wolf, river deer, deer, etc. The birds flock their wings through beautiful sky. Kaiqu Rivers（开曲河） flow smoothly, which looks just like the gleaming mirrors reflected colorful scenery under the sparkling sun shines.

Tourist can travel to Lhasa by air or train firstly and then transfer to Zogang by long-distance bus, which is the major choice. And you can transfer from Qamdo to Zogang County. There is no need for you to worry about the transportation.
