Langbo Township is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Cona County, which is located about 12 kilometers southeast of the county seat. It is not only the main border of Cona County, but also the county’s essential animal husbandry township.
Main Attractions in Langbo Township
Walking in the border line of Langbo Township, visitors can not only enjoy the original ecological landscape of alpine canyons, but also experience the mysterious legend of the rebirth and death of Dasang Dongzang（达桑洞藏）and the water burial ground（水葬台）. Dasang Dongzang（达桑洞藏）is ten meters in the depth, which owns a hot spring uninterruptedly emitting out of the it. According to the locals’ introduction, the cave spring water has a unique therapeutic effect on the stomach. On the other side of this hole, there is a Perennial warm hot springs with the temperature up to 80 ℃. It is said that the hot springs are the cure to the waist pain and stomach diseases with a really good therapeutic effect.
Walking along Dongzhang Waterfalls（东章瀑布）, there is a simple road about 9 km forward, you can reach Xiaozhan（肖站）. Here you can not only have small foreign trade with foreign people of the border countries, handshake with Indian soldiers, have face to face conversation, etc., but also enjoy the charming and attractive panoramic views such as the snow mountains, the forests, the crystal-clear lakes, the harmonious pastures filling with herds of cattle and sheep in the border area.

The highway traffic system is perfect; visitors can choose self-driving tour in Cona County, and then take a shuttled bus to Langbo Township. The closest airport is Lhasa Gonggar Airport about 300 km from Cona County and the closest railway station is Tsonag Railway Station. Tourist can also travel by train or air firstly and then transfer to long-distance bus or self-driving to Langbo Township which is the major choice.
