Chaiqu also called “Caqu(擦曲)”, “Zaqu(扎曲)”, known as “Caqu Zangbu(擦曲藏布)”, “Chai river(柴河)”, meaning “salt river(盐河)” or “alkali river(碱河)”. Chaiqu is located in the northwest of Zhongba County, next to the Yarlungzangbo River. There are natural ranches on both sides of the river, including yak, pien niu(犏牛) and Tibetan sheep.

Attraction Transportation:
We can take a shuttle bus from Shigatse to Zhongba County, then transfer a local mini van to Chaiqu.
