About Hutoushan Reservoir
Hutoushan Reservoir is located in Lhunzhub County, northeast of Lhasa. It is the main night habitat for birds. The reservoir takes shelter from the wind and facing the sun with mountains on two sides, the marsh is rich in aquatic plants.
Some clusters of wild grass out of the season which is a good place for small birds to hide. The vast majority of farmland has been harvested, then they become the main source of food for the birds during the winter. The large wet meadow marsh on the lakeside is an important night zone for the black necked cranes and wild geese.
Attraction Transportation:
We can take a shuttle bus from Lhasa to Lhunzhub County, then transfer a local mini bus to Hutoushan Reservoir.
