Lagui Gangri Snow Mountain is located in north latitude 28 “48 ‘, longitude 87” 38 ‘, meaning “mighty eagle snow mountain(神鹰雪山)” in the Tibetan language, lying in the south of Nalachi Village(那拉赤村) at Mangpu Township(芒普乡) in Lhazê County, 15 kilometers away from the village, 6457 meters above sea level. It has been one of the 44 peaks open for outside, there is Yangmuding Lake at the mountain foot, meaning “soar broad lake(广阔翱翔湖),” surrounded by natural pasture, the lake is rich in crack dove fish(裂鸠鱼).
