Measured Stone Cave(量过洞)
Along the way from Qudeng Nima Monastery(曲登尼玛寺) to snow mountain, there are a few stones formed a natural stone cave, the hole is very low and narrow, with a length of two meters, only can accommodate one person’s body. Local people called it as Measured Stone Cave.

Legend of the Measured Stone Cave
According to the legend, a long time ago. There was a noble woman in Kamba County Shigatse, who was cruel and sinful as she often maltreated slaves. Once a time, when she came to the cave, she saw the people believed in Buddhism had passed through the hole, and she also wanted to get through the hole, but she could not make it, unluckily she was caught in the hole and suffocated to death. Later, the cave was called as Measured Stone Cave. And it is said that those who are guilty of his behaviors are no longer able to drill through the cave, only those who do good deeds are able to go through the cave.

Attraction Transportation:
We can take a shuttle bus from Shigatse to Kamba County, then transfer a local mini van to Measured Stone Cave.
