About Shengqin Langzha Mountain
Shengqin Langzha Mountain(生钦朗扎神山)is in the first place of the 25 sacred mountains in Kangqu District(康区), which is located in the area of Gangto Township(岗托乡), Jomda County(江达县), Chamdo Prefecture(昌都市), Tibet Autonomous Region, 100 kilometers away from the county seat. It was once a worship place for the Buddhist monks, who were born in the sacred mountains of China. The size of the mountain is larger, and it takes a day to have a horse-ride visiting.
There are all about dozens of scenic spots on Shengqin Langzha Mountain, including: the monkey pick the hat, the figure of Buddha on the top of the hill, padmasambhava master statues(莲花生大师石像), flying dragon, padmasambhava decline demon hole(莲花生降妖洞), padmasambhava practiced hole(莲花生修行洞), the karmapa practiced hole(噶玛巴修行洞), Renzeng crystal hole(仁增水晶洞), and Shengqin Langzha Monastery(生钦朗扎山寺), etc. which are very spectacular and characteristics.
Festivals on Shengqin Langzha Mountain
Every June 15th of the Tibetan calendar, Tibetan people in the far and near are dressed in festive costumes, with delicious food and wine, the whole family comes out to worship the sacred mountain. They either go along the path of the holy mark, or pay homage to the fine stone statues. Whether it is to pray for the peaceful sacrifice of the harvest, or to show the dancing of joy; Gather plant leaf for incense sacrifice, or plug in prayer or offer the cattle and sheep head six words, are all vividly reflects the Tibetan people aspire to good crop weather, ancient desire of human and animal peace.

The transportation in Jomda is convenient. You can take the train from Lhasa to Shigatse City. From here, you can take the bus tour of Jomda County.
