About Zhegu Lake
There are 38 lakes in Comai County.The largest one is Zhegu Lake, which is about 66 square kilometers and belongs to the inland river. The water source mainly depends on the melting water of snow and ice.According to historical data and folklore, the lake is famous for its “Darmatso Jade Lake” in this ancient pilgrimage and one of the famous holy mountains in Tibet with a mysterious color.The water of the lake is crystal clear, like a mirror setting on the grassland. In the spring and summer, the lake water is shimmering with the blue sky which we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains. Groups of wild ducks and grey geese chase in the lake, swimming underwater. Covering a total area of more than 3 million mu and an average altitude of more than 4,500 meters, it is a natural and beautiful tourist attraction far away from modern pollution.
Attraction Transportation
The whole county highway is in the middle of the road, formed the highway traffic network which centered with Tsedang Town, connecting the 12 counties of Lhoka Prefecture. It is the main transport hub of the south of Tibet.

- High Altitude Sickness Avoiding: Although Lhoka is at a relatively lower elevation area, some places of high elevation may easily cause altitude reaction. Better take some medicines for relief and keep warm all the time.
- Pay attention to prepare some necessities for the cold weather like the hat, gloves, scarf and thick winter coat and so on.
