Garong Hot Spring(噶荣温泉)is located in Meiduo Village(梅朵村), Jiangrang Township(江让乡), Coqen County(措勤县), Ngari Prefecture(阿里地区), Tibet Autonomous Region, 70 kilometers away from the county seat, and 2 kilometers from No 206 provincial highway. There are more than 10 hot spring scopes, which are all rich in sulphur, carbonate, and other minerals. The hot spring water has a very good curative effect to arthritis, skin diseases and other diseases. The unique and spectacular hot spring attracts the attention of a considerable tourist each year. Many tourists go to this place to take photo as a souvenir every year. There are also some tourists who come to take away the hot spring water back in order to have the cure effect at home, so, it is also a famous tourist attraction in Coqen County.
