Samazha Monastery, also known as “Sanyang temple(桑央寺)”, is a Tibetan Buddhist nun monastery, located at Xierong Village(协荣村) of Caina Town(才纳乡) in Qushui County, Lhasa, Tibet autonomous region. Samazha Monastery is built in the mountains, the buildings are scattered in the middle of the cliff, the whole temple is so great.
The village that Samazha Monastery located at is used to name as Junba Village(俊巴村), it is the only fishing village that has been fishing for generations in the Tibet autonomous region. The environment is very beautiful and it is known as “the peach garden of snow area(雪域桃园)”.
Attraction Transportation:
We can take a shuttle bus from Lhasa to Quxu County, then transfer a local mini bus to Samazha Monastery.
