7th Tibet International Mountain Bike Race held

The three-day 2019 7th Tibet International Mountain Bike Race Around Basum Co Lake was held on April 30, a national level 5A scenic spot in Nyingchi, Tibet.
The Basum Co Lake Race is currently the highest mountain biking event aroundlake in China, has been held six times. The race route abounds with natural scenery and cultural landscape such as rural villages, waterfall streams, alpine meadows, and forests. The area, a nomadic region in southeastern Tibet, attracts many cycling enthusiasts each year.
The 2019 Basum Co Lake Race circuit continues last year’s route, which has a total length of 99 kilometers. The competition lasted for two days. The route of the first day was the Lake Circle circuit, which is a route of 30 kilometers. The route of the second day was 69 kilometers through a valley.
